What is the best time to plant container trees in Florida?

Container trees can be planted year-round in Florida, but fall through early spring (October through March) is ideal for establishment before summer heat. Container-grown trees have the advantage of an intact root system, making them more adaptable to planting outside the traditional bare-root season. Proper irrigation is essential, especially for summer plantings.
